Choosing the right investments for you
The process of choosing investments for a portfolio is called ‘asset allocation’.
There are four stages to the asset allocation process:
 | Deciding which asset classes (e.g. shares, bonds, cash) to invest in and in what proportion.
|
 | Deciding where in the world to invest and how much in each area.
|
 | Deciding which types of asset to invest in within each asset class and in what proportion.
|
 | And finally, selecting individual assets to invest in.
|
Our process is designed to ensure that all the pieces of the asset
allocation jigsaw fit together to give you a portfolio with the balance of
return and risk that makes sense for you

Managing your investments
To ensure your money is invested by the very best people, we have a ‘multi
manager’ approach to investment. This gives us the freedom to select the
best investment management companies in each market around the world.
We take this approach because we do not believe that any single investment manager can hope to excel in all areas in all markets.
Your exposure to shares and bonds will be made through a selection of specifically
designed funds, investing in major markets. This will give you the broad spread of investments you need to control risk effectively while achieving your objectives.
Each of our funds has been purpose-built for Inscape. They are managed
independently by a different investment manager or combination of managers, selected for their specialist skills and outstanding talent in particular markets. This way, you can be sure your money is working as hard as it possibly can for you.
So what makes our service so effective?
