Specialist Advice Some specialist advice is included in the Portfolio Managment Fee. We will let you know the cost of any additional special advice before you receive it
Dilution Levy The Inscape Investment Fund is an Open Ended Investment Company (OEIC). This means that there is a single price at which you can buy and sell shares in the Fund. When you purchase or sell shares, Inscape will usually have to buy or sell individual investments within the Fund to complete the transaction. The quoted Fund price does not take into account transaction costs for buying and selling individual investments. For example, the broker's commission and in the case of UK shares, Stamp Duty, which applies to purchases. To cover these costs, we reserve the right to apply a charge called a dilution levy. This helps to protect your interests, and those of other investors, by ensuring that the common property of the Fund, owned by all of the investors, is not 'diluted' by the costs incurred when an individual investor buys or sells shares. Inscape does not benefit in any way from the dilution levy. If we collect any more money than is needed to cover the transaction costs, this remains the property of the shareholders within the Fund."
Please note: the service is designed for those with savings and investments of £50,000 or more, which can be built up over time.
* The 1% fee will be based on the average investment balance over the quarter in our managed funds; reduced to 0.75% for average investment balances over £250,000; 0.5% for average investment balances over £1,000,000. The charge is calculated based on the number of days in the quarter that you have funds invested with Inscape and will be deducted from your Fast Access Account.
+ These charges will be taken directly from your fund.
